Receiving invoices or any other document, for that matter, as a PDF means we still have to manually extract the contents into our own business systems. E.g., manually keying the vendor name, bill date, bill reference, due date, journal, etc.

For one invoice, this isn’t really a big deal.

But at scale, with a large group of invoices each month, this becomes a tedious, time-wasting task.

What was supposed to be a 'digital' file transfer isn't so digital.

Apart from legibility what difference would it have made if that invoice you received was written with a pen and paper?

Orderlink’s Solution:

Orderlink has developed a new invoice automation feature as part of its purchase to pay platform.

The invoice automation feature allows businesses to extract data from supplier invoices right from the moment they are received.

After data is extracted from supplier invoices, a digitized invoice will appear in the invoice dashboard within the Orderlink platform, ready to be published.

Once published, if required the document will be routed for approval by the finance team.

When the invoice is approved it will automatically create a bill in your businesses existing accounts payable software or ERP system (e.g. Xero, MYOB, SAP, MS D365).

Orderlink has pre-built connectors and customized integrations that make it fast and easy to automatically sync vendors, invoices, and payment data between Orderlink and your ERP or accounting system.
